Beauty without intelligence is like a masterpiece written on a napkin.

It’s weird when the love goggles kick in its bliss and it’s not something you really think about. But damn it hurts when they’re torn off.

The problem is if you go in guarded and thinking that way, you’ll never let yourself love someone else. Not only is this unfair on the other person, it leaves you feeling empty inside (and more than a little shitty if you have any feelings). Though letting yourself go and trusting does set you up for an almighty fall (should it happen).

Overall though it is worth it even though it feels like someone has torn your insides out for a long time afterwards. For what it’s worth though relationshiparly challenged. I’ve been on both sides of this particular fence and though it is a terrible cliché, it is better to have love and lost than to never have loved at all.
